"Hi Paul,
We received the photos yesterday and they are fantastic! Thank you so much, we loved looking back through them, you captured the day perfectly for us and I can't wait to show all our family and friends. They were just what we were after!!
You made the whole thing so easy for us as we both hate being in front of the camera!
Thanks again,
Jess and Nick"
It's probably the most rewarding thing about my job, e-mail's like this one. The hours spent in front of the computer, the back ache after a long wedding day, it all just slips away when I know I've done a good job for great people like Jess and Nick.
"You made the whole thing so easy for us as we both hate being in front of the camera!", that right there is the sentiment that makes me most happy. I think if I tried to encapsulate in one sentence what it is I strive for on your wedding day then that would be it. Nowadays everywhere we turn someone has a camera, every day photos of ourselves flash up on social media, a grainy unflattering snap shot of us awkwardly looking at someones i-phone. The result is that a lot of us feel we don't look good on camera, that there is something about us that means we will never look good in a photo, well I'm here to make sure that on your wedding day, we put that right!!
So, take a look through Jess and Nick's wedding day at one of my favourite venues, The East Quay at Whitstable, a huge thank you from me to Jess and Nick for letting me be a part of their day and for letting me take photos in some of the best evening light I've ever seen!
