I sometimes get asked about posing people, how I go about it, what poses do I like. The truth is, sometimes you just get lucky. I had asked Beverley and Chris to turn around and look out across the sea. I was pleased with the photo and was about to move on to the next shot, but at that moment Beverley just laid her head on Chris’ shoulder. I didn’t ask her to do it or pose them, it wasn’t something I had planned, it was a real moment between two people, a husband and wife, and for me the photo just came alive.
