This was my first experience of a Sikh wedding and wow it really is something to behold! If you ever get the chance to visit the amazing Gravesend Gurdwara then you have to go for it! The colour, the energy is all just so intense that you can’t help but be mesmerized by the beauty of it all. I first met Charlie when I photographed her sister Annabelle’s wedding and when she contacted me to discuss her plans I have to admit I was really excited. A Sikh ceremony followed by a church service and back to her parents place for the food,drinks and dancing, it all sounded incredible, and so it proved to be. In putting this blog post together I had to split it in to two parts because frankly the whole thing would have been absolutely huge if I hadn’t so be sure to check out Part II which you can find here when you’re finished, it will be worth it trust me!
