Give me a field at sunset and I’m a happy wedding photographer. If photography is your thing then you’ll already know that there really is nothing like that feeling of looking at a scene in amazing light and clicking that shutter. For those of you reading this who are perhaps looking to improve your photography, maybe even thinking about becoming a wedding photographer then the best piece of advice I ever heard was to look for good light and then put your subjects in it. Do that and your’re on the right path. I photographed the wedding of the frankly awesome Kat and Cliff at The Chilston Park Hotel in Kent. The great thing about Chilston Park is that not only is it a great venue, but walk two minutes down the road and you’re in the heart of the stunning Kent countryside. That’s something I’ve been trying to do more of with my weddings this year, look a little bit deeper in to a venue, take a peek around the corner or down the road and see what I can find, sometimes it can be spectacular.

Hey Paul!

We got the photos the other morning and immediately stuck the slideshow on! All the emotions of the day came flooding back to us, elation, laughter, a few tears! We cant thank you enough, they are beautiful and natural! We particularly love how you have graded everything.

So lovely seeing everyone looking so happy, the venue looks superb and its nice to see me in front of a lens instead of behind it for a change! haha

We both want to say that from the moment we met you at the British Film Institute we knew you were going to do a great job. Very relaxed and composed and that made us enjoy the day more knowing you had everything covered.

We will cherish these forever, thank you Paul.
