So here we go! 2014 is about to get started for me with my first wedding of this year just around the corner. My first wedding of 2014 will be Kyla and Tom’s. Their wedding is at a venue I’ve not had a chance to shoot at before, Nettlestead Place near the village of Wateringbury in Kent. It promises to be an awesome day, any wedding where the groom and his groomsmen are going to be wearing orange Converse trainers with their suits is totally cool by me!

Kyla got in touch with me a few weeks ago about setting up a pre wedding shoot. Like most of us they were feeling a bit nervous about having their photo taken on their wedding day, so a pre wedding shoot was a good way to just settle those nerves a bit. As I’ve said before on this blog feeling a bit nervous about stepping in front of the camera is a totally normal and natural way to feel, it’s certainly how I felt on my wedding day! We met on what turned out to be an absolutely stunning evening at Bedgebury Forest. It was great to just hang out with these guys for a couple of hours and just take photos and I’m really happy to say that Kyla and Tom aren’t feeling quite as nervous anymore.
