Wilderness weddings in kent
Planning a wedding can be overwhelming. So, having been a wedding photographer for over 10 years I've picked up a few tips, tricks and recommendations along the way. So here's my guide to one of the best wedding venues around, Wilderness Weddings.
Wilderness Weddings in Kent
About Wilderness Weddings in Kent
Trish and Liam got married at Wilderness Weddings in Kent and whilst this was my first time shooting at this new venue I have to admit, I realised pretty quickly it was going to become one of my favourite venues.
Wilderness Weddings is set in the middle of the gorgeous Kent countrside with 3 potential spots for you to hold your civil or humanist ceremony. The Woodsman Cabin (above), Boat-Zebo both licensed for civil ceremonies and Wilderness Wood.
This isn't your traditional wedding venue. More and more people just want their wedding day to be super relaxed, no stuffy hotels, a chilled party with their friends and family is what they are looking for and Wilderness Weddings venue just ticks that box completely with a chic, festival vibe.
Wilderness Weddings Venue Capacity
Woodsman Cabin - 120 guests / Evening Reception 160 guests
Wilderness Weddings Reception Location
After your ceremony it's a short walk to the reception area which is made up of 3 large tipis in the Woodland Glade which creates a really large dining and entertainment space for you and your guests.
The 3rd tipi has a dance floor area and stage whilst the other 2 tipis are furnished with beautiful wooden tressel tables and benches which perfectly fit the vibe of the venue and make a perfect canvas for you to add your own personal style. There's a Champagne Shack Bar serving your guests local ales and wines and making sure the party gets going.

Wilderness Weddings Photography
We are blessed in Kent with some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK and Wilderness Weddings absolutely showcases the best of it.
For a photographer it's frankly an absolute dream of a venue to work at. Meadows, woodland, lakes and when the sun sets across the site it's pretty incredible, absoutely the kind of venue I love. I think aswell, this kind of venue tends to attract relaxed couples like Trish and Liam, looking to give their guests a chilled out, fun day.
